The largest beach in the village
Platanes

Platanes is the village’s main beach, set in the northern bay. It is the widest one: around 250 metres of fine golden sand that enters the water gently. The sea stays shallow for many metres from the shore, making it perfect for small children.
The name comes from the plane trees growing behind the beach, offering natural shade in the morning. In season there are a few sunbeds to rent, but most of the beach remains free: you can place your towel wherever you like.
The seabed is sandy, without rocks or sea urchins. Traditional fishing platforms sit along the beach, giving the bay a distinctive local character.
